Photos of Sam

Photos of Sam in no order just so I have them in one place and can find 'em.

Good memories and times.

  1. Lovely pics of one lucky doggy who was fortunate to meet and spent time with you and Mrs Bubba. You were right about never forgetting, you just tighten your belt a little more and move on...
    Long live his spirit.

Bob, with his belt cinch tight

    1. Bob,

It hits home when you come home from work and no one is at the door with tail wagging and expecting a treat.

    Hi Ken,
My comment yesterday didn't make it. So sorry to hear about Sam. 14 years is a good run for a Lab.

We've had 4 cats over the years and the end is always tough. Our one dog is 12 with anxiety and dementia - we don't know how tough those conditions are on her. I expect when her time comes it will be far more difficult than with the cats since she does so much more with us.

I saw one quote on euthanasia saying "better a week early than a day late." Hang in there.

    1. Steve,

How true that is and it is such a fine line. You do not want to lose your best buddy but you also want to be a best buddy and let him go out with dignity and comfort. I can never repay to love and comfort Sam gave me over his time in my life.

Take care and give her extra scratches and treats.
