Last of the Kitchen Trash Can

The kitchen trash can is finished:

And in position holding trash:

I may build another after a couple more projects are finished. The can is functional but there are a couple of small mistakes that most folks will or would not notice but I expect will bug me to distraction. Besides it is a quick fun build.

Still feeling guilty for my giddiness, but not much. If there is a god, she has a wicked sense of humor but whatever, Karma is a bitch.

Grab Karma's pussy and she's a wicked bitch. Someone has to face years of grabbing on Ms. Karma.

    1. Steve,

Ain't it the truth, been a long time coming. I'm such a evil SOB I do not want it to kill him, that's too easy. My wish is for Fat Nixon and his evil spawn to spend the rest of their lives penniless and wearing orange jumpsuits. It will never happen but a boy can dream.

  2. I can see the reason why for the design now. The cover is something I wasn't expecting to see.

    1. Ralph,

The design is very similar to the trash can MsBubba had when we met some 20 odd years ago and has been in our kitchen all that time. I do not know if it is a classic design or even where the design came from but bottom line it works very well and isn't too bad looking for a trash can. The only reason I built this one was the old can had gotten beat up and ratty over the years and I made the mistake of trying to paint it. Paint didn't work and it was easier to build another than to strip the paint.

  3. This is too nice to be a trash can, I would use this to store by baguette bread!
