It is five days post-op and all I can say is it's wonderful. There is no pain, just a very slight tightness in the area of the incision and the legs, while still weak, also are pain and cramp free.
I wish it hadn't taken so long to get here but that is the way the medical system in the States works.

Hi Ken
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that it worked out as it should.

Thanks Jonas,
ReplyDeleteIt was good to read you are headed home soon. Good luck on the trip.

Outstanding, Ken. Being pain free is a great way to be. Hope it stays that way!
ReplyDeleteIf your first world country didn't aspire to third world medical practices, through an astablished programme of greed and profiteering, you may never have had pain at all. Greetings from South Africa, where you think animals roam the streets and houses are made of mud, but where it would be impossible for me to sink as far as you did before actual, palliative care was offered.
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt, I expect it will.

Many of us who have seen other parts of the world know how screwed we are. Digging out is a work in progress that was slowed by the last election but we will win if not this cycle then in one of the next.
ReplyDeleteOf course it helps to have traveled with eyes open.
Thanks and take care,
ken
Glad you're recovering. Go slow.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are doing better, I am heading down the same path as you were, so there is hope...
ReplyDeleteBob
Thanks Andy.
ReplyDeleteBob,
My only suggestion is don't put it off. Go for a MRI early and get it fixed.
