Don't Laugh Too Much

I've been toying with the idea of using the iPhone to make some short videos. The other day I ordered a tripod/selfie stick to try. Here is the first go uncut and in all its glory:

The quality sucks, but the concept kinda works. I've a Go-Pro someplace I'll try using that next time.

    1. Mark,

I know, yet so little I had to set up a bench in the back garden for more work space (and to get a bench closer to the work). Loved your shop tour, someday I'll do the same with twice the shop but to half the effect.

If I can figure out how to use MsBubba's GoPro it will be used for the next one.

So far our "remain in place" is working for the two of us. Sure saves money which is good for us but bad for the economy.

      Take care and be careful,

  2. You know what? If you have told me you were preparing a video I would have bet on a video about sharpening :) Looks like you have your dog blessing regarding your sharpening! Finally I wish I have your shop space!

    1. Lionel,

I'm pretty predicable. The video was more a proof of concept than anything else, including getting it to publish which BTW wasn't easy for someone that is no longer tech savvy.

Next go I will use the Go-Pro and frankly it may also be about sharpening, maybe saw sharpening or spokeshave, mostly because it can be done with one set up.

I do have full Adobe Creative Suite but have never used the video editing. Another steep learning curve but with remain in place I should have time to learn.

      Be safe,

  4. Lionel,

Thanks, she is a rescue dog from the dog park. We were there with our other Lab rescue, Sam the Wonder Dog, when a service member asked if we would like to have her. She was being deployed to Germany and couldn't take Maggie with her. Sometimes life works.
