Look, it's going to be fine. Herman Cain got it and he's still tweeting :D :D :D https://media1.tenor.com/images/a536e7cfb224d53fa6a21459b1afb2fb/tenor.gif
"There is a god". The idea which went through my brain was "there is a justice". Then I thought this is unjust for all the innocent who have been hit by the virus. They didn't deserve it. "it is against everything I profess" Aren't you a Pastafarian ? ;-) Sylvain
An ordained Pastafarian minister, been one for years :-).
I've retained a burning hate of Nixon for years because of his extending of the Vietnam war and killing an additional 20,000 plus American service members for political reasons, mostly to be elected and then re-elected. Fat Nixon has been an order of magnitude worst with 200,000 dead and still counting.
If you have never been to the "Wall" in DC it is the most powerful monument of my time. Even after many visits once I'm close I start bawling like a baby and really can't take it. Even today, in my office writing about it brings tears to my eyes. Trump has been ten times worse than Nixon. I'm not sure how we as a country and the world will remember the thousands killed by Trump but what ever it is I hope it is as powerful as the "Wall".
Saw many talking heads on the news today wishing well and taking the high road.
That should be me, but it isn't.
The guy who took advantage of his following by deceiving them can set an example be reaching the brink or passing it. Makes no difference to me. What mystifies me is that this episode could properly be seen as a failure in public health and national security directly tied to presidential deceit or some sort of sympathy that poor Orange Julius go the Chyyyyna virus, poor guy.
I think at this point a clone of Nixon could be one of the better members or the R congress. He was bad in his time but a real statesman by today's standards. Trump couldn't shine Nixon's shoes.
Fat Nixon is too reverent. Stupid Nixon does it for me.
Yeah, you'd be off Unplugged Workshop after this one anyway...
Thanks for the suggestion but it ain't going to happen. As I have posted many times my blog, OK Guy, is my journal. It is about what I'm doing, thinking about and/or planing to do and politics is a big part of my life and always has been. I trained as an economist and a political scientist and if you read the introduction to the blog the first sentence states I'm a political junky, working wood comes second.
*snork*
ReplyDeleteMark,
DeleteI feel so dirty (not really but I should), it is against everything I profess to believe but damn if I don't agree.
